8 things to do for free in Toronto

At work Stewart is known as the master of freebies due to our ability to sniff out a good bargain. Just last week whilst at High Park he suddenly disappeared as he made a beeline for a Lays crisps promo van!

Since living in Toronto we’ve made the most of what’s on offer for free, saving us money (for more holidays), whilst still enabling us to explore our new home.

You can visit art galleries, polar bears and dinosaur skeletons all for free with the Toronto Museum + Arts Pass

So it was on this basis that we decided to pitch an article to Moving2Canada entitled ‘8 free things to do in Toronto‘. This was the first time we’ve done something like this and we were pretty chuffed when they responded saying they loved it!

So here it is, 8 things to do for free in Toronto. You can check out where they are in Toronto on the map below. Let us know if there’s anything else you’d add.

What free things have you enjoyed whilst travelling or living abroad?

  1. Congrats on the article! Great tips. I would add exploring the many cultural and neighborhood festivals to the list. Lots of free music and activities can be found at these!
